This Peters Cartridge Division manufactured yellow, blue and red cardboard box contains all 50 rounds of Rustless smokeless 22 Remington Auto Loading ammunition with copper cases and is in very good condition with edge wear, moderate dirt smudging, and a wrinkled corner. This box displays a thumb cut on the left end of the box. The product code NO. 2239 is printed on both end flaps. The bottom of the box displays the company information "PETERS CARTRIDGE DIVISION / REMINGTON ARMS COMPANY, INC. / BRIDGEPORT, CONNECTICUT". The end flap warning reads "RANGE-ONE MILE / BE CAREFUL". The copper casings display the "P-6" or "P-7" headstamp and have a light tarnish present. The bullets display a light oxidation.

Date of Manufacture: This style box was introduced in 1936 and was produced until 1940.

Note: This box is similar to the Huegel # PCC-8D RA-3.1 variation. The difference observed is that this box displays copper casings as opposed to brass. This box displays the "G-1" style bottom, #7 style end flap, and #4 style end flap warning.
